A little more than a week until Christmas Eve and here comes a post with the best Christmas gift tips for those who exercise!
- Number one on the list, which is also my favorite, is to give away a registration for a race, in the best case, if you also run/cycle etc, you can take the opportunity to register yourself. It then extends the clap by also following along as company on the race. There are several race calendars where, based on city, distance, type of sport and surface, you can search for the range and choose based on what you think suits the person best!
- Massage - provided you know the person appreciates it. If you exercise a lot and like massage, it is a much appreciated gift and something you rarely treat yourself to.
- Training clothes - you haven't missed that Empower Sportswear has a lot of news in the range, right? Take the opportunity to also buy a matching outfit for yourself!
- Equipment - a little depending on what kind of sport/training the recipient does, but for the person who runs, a reflective vest, running gloves, sports drink, headlamp, running rucksack, a nice cap or, for example, toe pads or compression sleeves can be the perfect gift. For those who hang out at the gym, maybe pull straps, chalk, amino acids or a glittery belt are the best fit?
- VO-max/threshold test, certainly expensive, but for those who have a budget, it is very much appreciated to have the opportunity to map the heart rate and fitness. Even running analysis (foot analysis) is something you rarely indulge in, and for those who want to stay in a slightly lower price range, there are several companies that offer health checks/vitamin tests for slightly less money.
- Gym card/clip card at the swimming hall. Many gyms are running a deal now before Christmas with various gift cards and clip cards, maybe your gym has an unbeatable try-on offer? - Then you can also offer company at the training!
- Consumables - sounds really boring, but I would have appreciated a luxurious shower cream, bath foam, peeling or deodorant, alternatively sports detergent or other things that are used when you exercise often.
- Literature - a book or a subscription with the type of sport that the recipient does. Regardless of whether it's hiking, horse riding, trail running, bodybuilding or boxing, there is something for most people.
- Apps - just like above, there are a whole host of apps (and here it is important that you know the recipient well), everything from running programs to yoga challenges, meditation/breathing apps, diet programs or strength programs.
- Edible - protein powder, creatine, some luxury coffee or a basket of bars, protein pudding, fresh berries, nuts, vitamin c soda and fine luxury chocolate. One year I received a plate of eggs from a friend as an Easter present - much appreciated!
Hope the tips above can help you in your search for the perfect gift!
Wishing you a really STRONG and MERRY Christmas!
